The console unit is no doubt a versatile piece of furniture: it combines an incredible sturdiness to a most essential element: vanity units.

Console Units: A modern furniture item

The most used material to make console units is wood, as it gives off a cosy and comfy vibe. Our Fogo series for instance are available in five different shades of wood veneer. Wood is also the most used material by Duravit. The final product is a jaw-dropping combination of straight lines with a most natural finish. These console units are polished and offer a sturdiness that is set to last in time. Moreover, Duravit’s colour pallet is wide. A storage item with a simple layout

There are basically two types of console units. The first type is made of a thick wooden plate supported by numerous metal poles. The second one is comprised of cupboards which are placed underneath the wooden plate. The wooden plates are to be fixed on the wall. We advise to take all the necessary measurements concerning your basin before ordering your console unit. This way you can tell us the size of the plate you want to order and the manufacturer will then take care of cutting it to the right size for your bathroom. Some of the plates are meant to support two washbasins while others can only support one. This information can generally be found in the compatibility description between the basins and the console unit. The length of a console unit usually varies between 19'10" and 23'00". Its structure can be compared to those of bathroom shelves.

Duravit Console Units

The Duravit Delos console unit is available in various sizes, its length allows it to welcome up to two basins while leaving enough space for you to put your toiletries on it. Its maximal width can go up to 78' while its standard length is 22'. This console unit is to be directly fixed on the wall and is also compatible with a specific support (UV9903).
