First of all, thank you for ordering at Superbath UK. Unfortunately, we currently face a lot of issues regarding the deliveries in the UK for both packages and pallets. We would like to share them with you in order to be completely transparent. We are aware that a lot of you did not receive their order(s) at the planned delivery date. Let us explain what happened with Brexit and Covid-19 at SuperBath UK.
Why haven’t I received what I ordered yet?
Pallets & Brexit
The courier company we are working with has encountered complications at the border since the start of January due to the new Brexit regulations. Indeed, no transports companies know what to do when it comes to B2C (Business-2-Consumers) pallets because the Brexit agreement does not specify the regulations in that case. We therefore tried to find a way to deliver the pallets to our UK partner company but they got stuck because there are new fees that need to be paid. Therefore, the negotiations are still on going and the pallets are still stuck. We are currently working on another solution.
As soon as we are able to resolve this issue, pallet deliveries will progress as normal. We will make sure to let you know as soon as the situation gets better.
Packages & Brexit
At the end of December, all the trucks were stuck at the border due to new Covid-19 regulations. So all the packages we sent after the 15th of December could not enter the country. Since the logistics company we were working with could not deliver your packages, we managed to sign an agreement at the start of January with another one. Now all the packages are allowed to pass the border.
However, after Brexit, due to the new requirements imposed by the UK customs service, there are significant delays on package orders. Until we solve together with the delivery company all the problems, it is impossible for us to guarantee a delivery date. You should also be aware that you might have to pay customs fees.
We are fully aware that this is not an ideal situation for most of you and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Our customer service does its best to give you the most accurate information. However we do not always have the answer(s) to your question(s) since we work with other companies that deliver your orders for us. Note that we constantly check for new updates with the transports companies.
We kindly ask you to be patient. You should know that as long as you order anything from Europe, you will very likely face the same issues with other companies. Again, we are really sorry for the inconvenience and we work on finding a solution for all of our customers as soon as possible.
