A bit of history
It all began in 1879 when the company TURK + BOLTE opened its doors in Iserlohn close to Dortmund in Germany. A few years later, in 1953, the company Paul Keune and Co. KG was founded. At that time, six employees were responsible for the production of standard bathroom fittings. You always have to start somewhere!
The construction of the first factory building and the launch of new products on the market followed. The company grew steadily in the following years and reached a turnover of one million DM (Deutsche Mark, the former German currency at that time).
The ELEGANCE series developed in 1967 is still the most successful series in the world today. With more than 40 million items sold, it has broken all records.
In 1984, Keuco officially became Keuco, but with a hint of its original name.
Four years after its name was changed, the brand decided to expand its horizons and launched a range of bathroom furniture. In 2002, it also entered the bathroom taps market. Keuco’s commitment to continuous improvement led to the launch of the first complete bathroom series in 2005: the 300 edition. With basins, accessories, fittings, bathroom cabinets and much more, there is no shortage of options!
Since then, the brand has continued to grow and today works with over 500 employees. So things have changed in over 100 years!
