Have you ever wondered what are bathtubs made of? Well, we can tell you about the materials Victoria + Albert use. There are two names to remember: Volcanic Limestone™ & QUARRYCAST™. Let’s start with Volcanic Limestone™, this is a special white stone that was invented by the brand for the design of their baths and washbasins. Due to the heat and pressure of the magma, they were able to transform it into a new highly resistant material. The QUARRYCAST™ is a mixture of Volcanic Limestone™ and a high-quality resin.
Personalized bathtubs and washbasins
Not a fan of classic white or want to try something different? At Victoria + Albert this is no problem. It is possible to have the exterior of your bathtub and washbasin painted, for example, your Victoria and Albert Amalfi bath in black. The colour palette consists of 199 colours! Through a partnership with the interior magazine Wallpaper* the brand now temporarily offers 3 extra colours. Enough choice to colour your bathroom
The brand attaches great importance to the durability of its products, which is why they first apply a layer of special catalysed paint. The paint is hand-polished after each coat, to create a durable finish.
You should note that the bathtubs and washbasins are made to order. You will therefore need to allow for a longer delivery time.
The Victoria + Albert Warranty
Depending on the product you have bought and the way you use it, the Warranty duration will differ.
If you use the product for private purposes, then all QUARRYCAST™ products have a warranty for 25 years. If you use the products for commercial purposes, the warranty is 8 years. All other furniture, washbasins, and accessories have a 5-year warranty.
