Buying the right shower arm

At first glance, a shower arm is nothing but a pipeline connected to your shower head. It still is, however, one of the main elements of your shower and having a high-quality arm is essential to successfully mount your shower on your wall. Our shower arms have been manufactured by German brands like Grohe or Hansgrohe, which are well known by for their expertise and the durability and high quality of their products.

Shower arm characteristics

Different types of shower arms exist and the advantages of each model are different. There are two main types of shower arms: curved shaped ones like the Hansgrohe Universal shower arm and straight ones like the Grohe Rainshower model. The first will massage your back and face while the second offers a vertical jet of water much like rain (Perfectly adapted for shower heads with the Rainshower technology). The length of the arm has to correspond to the size of the shower head (the length of a shower arm varies between 250 and 400 mm). Models come with or without a rosette, this characteristic is specified in the product description. Likewise, if the shower arm is specifically adapted to a particular shower head, the complementarity of the two elements will also be given.

Most shower arms are made of chrome-plated solid brass, a special high-end metal which ensures solidity and resistance to dampness. The chrome-finish will look perfect with the rest of your shower system. Some Grohe products have the StarLight technology which will keep your product shiny for years.

A specific shower arm

The Grohe Rainshower 286mm shower arm needs to be fixed to a wall, it has a curved nozzle and threaded ½ fittings for the shower head. This model is adapted to shower heads with the Rainshower technology and is coated with the StarLight chrome-brass so it will keep its shine throughout the years.
