Want to indulge in a balneotherapy session without leaving your home? Then we have exactly what you need: a whirlpool. Two types are available: rectangular whirlpools or corner ones. With a whirlpool your bath time will become a perfect moment of bliss and relaxation. Moreover, hydro massage has many benefits as it relieves muscle tension, reduces pains and facilitates blood circulation. You can now enjoy a therapy at home whenever you want! However, you will have to consider the massage system type, the placement of the water nozzles and the shape of the bath to ensure you buy the right bath for you. And since we know choosing the right tub isn’t easy, here are a few tips for you! Our most popular brands when it comes to whirlpools are Duravit and Riho, as their products combine comfort, sustainability and functionality.

The bath and its shape

The first important characteristic to consider is the shape of your bath. We mostly sell rectangular baths, however, oval and round baths are also interesting as they are ergonomic. Round baths are particularly adapted for couples and their curvy shape brings a luxurious aspect to your bathroom. As for rectangular baths, they are usually curved on the inside to match the human body. You can also go for an ergonomic bath, which adapts itself to your body and offers optimal comfort.

Hydromassage

Water nozzle placement and the massage type offered by your bath are two elements which will greatly influence your bath time. The number of water jets varies from four to eight units: please make sure that they are well disposed along the bath to reach your entire body. There are three kinds of hydromassages: compressed air massages, air/water massages and air/ water + air massages. The first type is very soothing, with small air bubbles coming out of the nozzles and making you feel immediately relaxed. The second type is tonifying and improves blood circulation. The last massage system combines the advantages of the two previous systems: it is at the same time tonifying and relaxing.

Innovative characteristics

Some tubs such as the Riho bath have a few extra features which will make your bathroom feel very special: indeed, the Riho bath has embedded neon lights which will shine a warm light in the room while its Bluetooth speakers play the music you want under the water. Many of our bath models have accessories which will improve your comfort, like headrests and bath handles.

Additional information

There are a few things you should check before ordering your bath to ensure everything will work perfectly once installed. First and foremost, the pump and water pipes aren’t always included: we advise to verify the compatibility between these products and your bath directly on the manufacturer’s website. The pressure of the pump is essential: there is no point in having many water nozzles if you don’t have the adapted pump because the water pressure will be insufficient.
